Fitment

Designed for compatible VW Type 2 six-rib 091/094 applications. Some 091 transaxles use the shorter 002-style bellhousing/input-shaft configuration and require a 101-series starter instead.

Measure from the starter mounting surface to the starter-bushing location before ordering. Approximately 2 inches generally corresponds to the shorter 101-series application; approximately 2.5 inches corresponds to the longer 104-series application.
